Ep48—Batusi and the Two-Face

Becky and Jake

Greetings, true bat believers! This installment of Seen on the Small Screen drops us off on the tough streets of Gotham City during the sunset of its psychedelic splendor before eternal night was declared there by DC executives. It's Becky, Jake, and Sammy the cat's chance to utter an innumerable amount of bat prefixes as they discuss the DC cartoon movie, Batman vs. Two Face. Adam West is back, voicing everyone's favorite groovy crimefighter alongside Burt Ward as Boy Wonder Robin. After Batman suggests poetry to reform his on-and-off galpal Catwoman (voiced by Julie Newmar), he's off cavorting with the likes of Doctor Hugo Strange and his new invention guaranteed to suck all the evil out of Gotham's worst criminals. But, as it often happens in comic book stories, things don't go as planned. In this case, it's Gotham DA Harvey Dent (voiced by William Shatner) who gets hit with a dose of evil juju and turns into the maniacal gun-wielding villain, Two Face. And just when Batman thinks his old friend Harvey might be free of his curse, a new shadowy mastermind leads Batman and Robin on a whirlwind race around Gotham with only one intent: capture Batman and sell his secret identity to the highest bidder. The boffs and bazooms with the fisticuffs abound as Batman embarks on his craziest caper yet!
